Impact, VA! is a ministry of Virginia Baptists, where about 130 high school age students will be descending on our county July 20th-24th to help rennovate and work on homes that need some help, that otherwise might not have the money to help pay for the repairs.  The youth will be housed at the high school, fed breakfast and dinner by the cafeteria staff (we help pay for that), and go out during the day to work.

We are still in process of identifying all of the home sites, but 6 have been definitely decided upon.   Please download the list and see where you have been assigned.  Let me know if that date doesn't work for you for some reason.

Some of you have volunteered to help and have not been assigned yet..  That is because I think a home closer to where you actually live may come up.  I am waiting to try to get you to serve to the home closest to your own.  Don't think I have forgotten you...I haven't.  I still have not assigned County Line Baptist a home yet and several individuals.

We are still accepting donations to help pay for supplies as well.  If we work on roofs, build ramps, paint, etc. we purchase and pay for all supplies.  If your group would like to contribute, thank you.

Send me an email to let me know you received this and your date works for you.  Forward this to anyone you think may be interested in helping.

May God bless you all for your service.  I enjoy working with each of you.
Join us in helping to reach our Jerusalem.

The Congregacion Hispana de Ladysmith, under the leadership of Pastor Eduardo Negron, has written and asked the Executive Committee to consider their request for membership with Hermon.  The Committee will look at the request in May, and the official recommendation and vote will take place at our annual meeting in October.

The Congregacion Hispana de Ladysmith joined us at our annual meeting last October, and Pastor Negron has been involved in prayer and support for our association for awhile.  Their address is 604 Cicero Drive, Ruther Glen, Va. 22546.  Pastor Negron can be reached at negron57200@yahoo.com.
